Two Souls
-By Christine Murrain

Two souls in passing
Locked eyes one day
Preferring to trip,
Than look the other way
They began to fall
And so extended a hand
To trade discomforts
Bracing for soft land
And little did they know
That they’d never touch the ground
They’d continue to embrace
Both safe and sound
Floating amongst the clouds
Inspiring all who know em’
Two souls- mere words
Became the lines of this poem
